BLACC Hosts Discussion on Interracial Relationships

Following Get Out’s positive reception from critics and average movie goers alike, the University’s Black student organization – Brilliant Leaders Advocating Color Consciousness (BLACC) – has organized a discussion on interracial relationships. The unconventional horror movie provides social commentary on the dynamics of race, relationships and privilege. BLACC will be hosting their event Monday March 20, at 7 p.m in the Multicultural Room. All community members are welcome to participate and provide their perspectives on interracial relationships. Attendees do not need to watch Get Out in order to participate, although “spoilers” will come up in conversation.
