MESA TO HOST “TASTE OF THE MIDDLE EAST” THURSDAY

Each Tuesday night at 7pm in CDI about five students meet to discuss and celebrate the Middle Eastern culture. MESA, Middle Eastern Student Association is a small knit group, some of Middle Eastern descent, while others merely interested in learning about the culture. Each meeting they come together to discuss current events, traditions, and create and cultivate a community on campus.

Over the years, MESA attendance has been dwindling, due to lack of knowledge about its existence. However, the core of members continue to welcome all those interested in joining, at any point in the semester.

For those of us who are intrigued by this club or simply looking for a good time filled with music, dancing, free food, and henna, MESA is hosting an event on Thursday, March 29 at 6pm in the Hunsaker Lobby. All are invited and welcome to come to this event and get a small “taste of the Middle East.”
